Liam has held various roles with Carbonzero since 2012 and became the company’s Vice President, Advisory Services & COO in July, 2020. As the lead on the Advisory Services team, Liam has oversight for Carbonzero’s client deliverables, which include GHG Inventories and GHG Reduction Strategies. Liam works closely with Carbonzero’s other partners to set the strategic direction of the company and identify opportunities for growth.

Liam’s background in the environmental consulting sector has included positions in carbon management, ESG research, non-profit program management, and most recently in healthcare, where he helped to implement projects that generated six-figure dollar savings across the energy and waste management portfolios of the organization.

Liam has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies & Geomatics from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario as well as a Post-graduate certificate in Environmental Management & Assessment from Niagara College.

Liam is a certificate holder from the Canadian Standards Association having received training on ISO 14064-1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals. He has also completed training with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, specifically the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard as well as the Scope 3 Standard.
